Sarasota Brass Quintet

Founded in 1986, the Sarasota Brass Quintet (formerly the Florida Brass Quintet) has established itself as one of Sarasota Orchestra's best-known ensembles. The Quintet performs chamber music on the orchestras Chamber Music Series in Holley Hall at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center in Sarasota, and has performed throughout Florida, from the Panhandle to the Keys. The group also performs in and works with students from schools throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Their concerts include a mix of standard quintet literature and pops selections and take the listener on a different musical tour at each concert. From the clarion sounds of the Baroque to contemporary jazz, the Sarasota Brass Quintet offers entertaining programs of great variety.
