A native of Taiwan, Wei-Yun Chang has performed in venues across the U.S. and Taiwan. She recently appeared as a soloist with Coeur d'Alene Symphony as the winner of the Orchestra's National Young Artist's Competition and IU Ad Hoc Orchestra. She was also a prize winner at the Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Collegiate Competition and the San Jose International Piano Competition. Wei-Yun is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she completed both her master's and bachelor's degrees in piano performance under Evelyne Brancart. She enjoys swimming, cooking, and jigsaw puzzles in her free time.
