A native of Los Angeles, California, Paul Greitzer joined the Sarasota Orchestra in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in oboe performance from Cal State University, Northridge and a Master of Library Science degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. As Assistant Principal librarian, Paul helps in the preparation of all music needed for orchestral and chamber performances, maintaining the orchestra database and library website, and supervising library assistants. Paul has worked as assistant librarian of the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops, library assistant for the North Carolina Symphony, librarian for the Brevard Music Festival, and has been head librarian of the Sun Valley Music Festival since 2022.
