Biography

A fourth generation Florida native, Mr. Radloff was born in Tampa. His professional career began with four years as a Navy musician, after which he began performing with The Florida Orchestra and the Jacksonville Symphony, prior to winning his positions with Sarasota Orchestra and the Southwest Florida Symphony (in Ft. Myers). He currently lives in Orlando, FL with his wife, Marie, who is an Elementary Music Specialist.

Instrument: Scott’s bassoon is an early-9000 series Heckel, from 1945

Education: Bachelor of Music – University of Florida

Career Highlights: Often, whichever Masterworks program Scott is currently performing seems to be a "career highlight." With that said, performing a concert in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China in 2002 was rather special.

Passions and Interests: Beyond being fortunate enough to live their passion for making and teaching music, Scott and Marie dedicate a lot of energy to travel. Their marriage began with a wedding in Vienna, Austria! Since that beginning, they have traveled to England, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Japan, and of course Canada (including Newfoundland!).
