Jerver Hernandez

Jerver Hernandez is a graduate student at the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music under the tutelage of Shawn Mouser. A Los Angeles native, Jerver started playing the bassoon at age 15 and has performed with the Las Vegas Philharmonic and with members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic as part of their Neighborhood Concerts. During the summers, he has appeared at the Round Top Music Festival and Kent Blossom Music Festival. Before USC, Jerver studied with Drew Pattison at Oberlin Conservatory and Richard Beene at the Colburn Community School as a Herbert Zipper Scholar.
