Gina O’Brien Finnegan

Biography
Gina is responsible for working with individual and corporate donors. Before joining Sarasota Orchestra, Gina served as development director for the Mobile Symphony. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Wittenberg University and a master’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.

People are surprised to learn... Gina was kicked out of bell choir in college. Thankfully, she had the grace to hide her great relief and feign disappointment. Having played and loved the piano for so long, she had a difficult time appreciating her one note. (She was only given one bell to ring, probably a nice B-flat.)
Favorite piece of music: Gina says, “I love Baroque works for orchestra, choir, and vocal soloists the most, but my current favorite piece is Dvořák’s Stabat Mater.”
