Andrej Balaž is a 21-year-old violinist born in Novi Sad, Serbia. He comes from a family of professional musicians. He enrolled in the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad at the age of 15, with Florijan Balaž as his professor, and is currently pursuing his master's degree. Andrej has won more than 50 first prizes and laureate titles in national, regional, and international competitions in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Russia. He was awarded "The Best Student of the University" and "The Best Student of Arts" awards by the University of Novi Sad and has participated in the Pacific Music Festival, Taipei Music Academy and Festival, and Western Balkans Youth Orchestra.
