PROGRAM

If there’s one tale that’s been around as long as the human heartbeat, it’s got to be the story of love. Sarasota Orchestra blends romance and time travel in an exploration of epic romances through the ages. You’ll hear of passion and betrayal in Saint-Saëns’ Samson and Delilah—but not every great love story has to be a heartbreaker! With orchestral anecdotes about more modern courtship, from the jazz age to Pretty Woman, this concert offers a sweet prelude to Valentine’s Day.
