Alexander Kerr

A member of the Sarasota Music Festival faculty since 2010

Alexander Kerr is the concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and a faculty member at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He is the former concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Mr. Kerr has appeared as a soloist with major orchestras throughout the United States and Europe and as a chamber musician at some of the world’s premier music festivals. As a chamber musician, he has collaborated with a number of the world’s top musicians and has numerous CD releases to his credit, including the Dvořák Piano Quintet with Sarah Chang.
