Michael Adcock

Michael Adcock earned his Bachelor of Music degree at Oberlin Conservatory and his master’s degree, artist's diploma, and D.M.A. from Peabody Conservatory. He was a student of Leon Fleisher and Ellen Mack. Mr. Adcock won the Lili Boulanger Memorial Award and was also a prizewinner at The Kosciuszko and Washington International Competitions. He made his Carnegie Recital Hall debut in 1998. Mr. Adcock has served on the theory and chamber music faculty at Peabody Conservatory and is on the faculty at Washington Conservatory. He joined the Sarasota Music Festival associate faculty in 1994.
