Faculty Artist since 2022
Jeff Scott served as French hornist of the Imani Winds for more than 20 years. He has been a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Dance Theater of Harlem since 1995, and has performed numerous times with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. A GRAMMY award winning composer, Mr. Scott has written many original works for solo winds, ensembles, and multiple stage productions. Currently a member of the horn faculty at Oberlin Conservatory, Mr. Scott is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and earned a master’s degree from Stony Brook University. He joins the Sarasota Music Festival faculty this year.
