The Sarasota Opera House is a beautifully renovated 1,100 seat historic theater close to fine restaurants & shops in the heart of downtown Sarasota. A delightful courtyard and numerous other amenities are sure to make for an unforgettable, elegant evening.

Palm Avenue Garage (City of Sarasota)
Located northwest of the Palm Avenue and Main Street intersection, just behind the Opera House.
Parking Rates
For all Garages, please comply with all posted signs and city ordinances, including No Back-in parking. For payment convenience, each facility has a gateless entrance which requires payment at arrival. Signs are posted with QR codes and app options. Credit card or coin payment may be done on ground floor by elevators. If you need assistance or want to report a problem, please contact the parking attendant which phone number is listed on the ticket entry machine.

100 Central Avenue (City of Sarasota)
Entrance on 2nd Street. Free public parking on the 2nd floor only. 4-hour limit.
Plaza at Five Points (Privately owned)
Located at 50 Central Avenue: entrance on 1st Street. $2 per hour, up to $6 maximum.
Important Note
Please do not park in the parking lot of the William G. Selby Library or in the ground floor lot adjacent to the Whole Foods Market, as you may be towed and/or ticketed. The Selby Library will be open on Sundays and opera house patrons who park there may be towed .
The Sarasota Opera House and Pavilion, with elevator service to all floors, are accessible to physically disabled persons. The William E. Schmidt Opera Theater contains orchestra-level seating that is accessible to persons using wheelchairs; however, due to the historic nature of the theater and local fire regulations, second-floor seating is not wheelchair accessible.
Restrooms:
All restrooms in the Sarasota Opera House have facilities for the disabled. There is also a family restroom on the first floor of the Lobby, next to the ticket kiosk.
