Noemi William-Olsson Gilbert

Swedish American violinist Noemi William-Olsson Gilbert has performed extensively on three continents. She is the assistant concertmaster of the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra and was concertmaster of the Stockholm Youth Symphony. Noemi performed as one of the leaders of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra and as a fellow at the Sarasota Music Festival in 2025. She played in the Aspen Chamber Symphony, at the Music Masters Course Japan, Nurmes Summer Music Festival, Académie Festival des Arcs, Greenwood Music Camp, and Waldemarsudde’s Musik på Udden. Throughout the summer of 2023, as part of the violin duo Duo Mano, Noemi played 40 short concerts in the Stockholm Konserthus. She has played in masterclasses with the Miró Quartet, Stella Chen, and Olivier Charlier, and studied with Ulla Magnusson, Julia Kretz-Larsson, Alexander Kerr, Naoko Tanaka, Yoko Takebe, and Joakim Svenheden. Noemi is a junior at Harvard College studying English and is pursuing violin studies with Lynn Chang.
