Mark Kliesen

Mark Kliesen is a 22-year-old violist from Atlanta, Georgia, currently pursuing his master's degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music under Atar Arad. He previously completed his undergraduate studies at Oberlin Conservatory with Peter Slowik. Mark has participated in masterclasses with renowned violists, including Tabea Zimmermann, Samuel Rhodes, Carol Rodland, and Lynne Ramsey, and has attended festivals such as Madeline Island Chamber Music, the Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Heifetz International Music Institute.
