Kenny Ford is a young American bassoonist from Chelsea, Michigan, who enjoys playing solo, chamber, and orchestral music across the country. She is a DaCamera Young Artist of 2025 and 2026; a featured guest artist of NPR’s Classical KING! Station, where she performed with the woodwind quintet Mousai in 2025; and was a Music Academy of the West fellow in 2024 and 2025. Kenny was the winner of the International Chamber Music Competition of the New England Chamber Society Adult Division and a finalist for the Frances Walton Chamber Competition. Kenny graduated from the Eastman School of Music in 2025, receiving her Bachelor of Music Performance degree. Kenny is currently purusing a Master of Music Performance degree at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
