Joie Kuo

Joie Kuo, cellist from Bridgewater, New Jersey, is currently an undergraduate student at The Juilliard School, studying under professors Clara Kim and Natasha Brofsky. A 2024 YoungArts Award recipient and Fischoff National Chamber Competition quarterfinalist, she has served twice as principal cellist of the Juilliard Pre-College orchestra and has spent past summers at the Heifetz International Music Institute and Taipei Music Academy & Festival. Outside of music, Joie enjoys classical literature and late-night food adventures.
