Jingrui Liu, from Beijing, China, started her clarinet studies at the age of 11. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Charles Neidich. In 2019, Ms. Liu was accepted to The Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College Division, where she studied with Xiangyu Zhou and became the first student to graduate from the school. During her current studies at Juilliard, Ms. Liu has performed with the Juilliard Orchestra, Opera, and Wind Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, Ms. Liu has performed and studied at Boston University Tanglewood Institute's Woodwind Seminar with Imani Winds. Recently, Ms. Liu earned a fellowship position at the Miami Music Festival, where she played all positions in the symphony orchestra and pit orchestra.
