At the age of seven, Curtis begged his parents to let him play the violin. Notable professional performances include performing with the Utah Symphony with soloists such as Yefim Bronfman and Paul Simon, as well as the Billings Symphony. Additionally, Curtis was a soloist with the Salt Lake Choral Artists. He has played in masterclasses with Will Hagen, David Coucheron, and Madeline Adkins. Curtis has performed in Abravanel Hall, the Tabernacle, and Neidorff-Karpati Hall. Curtis has taken great interest in chamber music, premiering works for composers such as Neely Bruce and Joshua Goodell. Curtis is currently studying with Laurie Carney at Manhattan School of Music.
