Christopher Hummel

Violinist Christopher Hummel has a passion for music which has brought him from Germany to Oregon. Equally comfortable leading an orchestra (he served as concertmaster of the Long Island Youth Orchestra from 2020-2023, and served as concertmaster of the 2022 New York All State Orchestra), playing in chamber groups (he is the violinist of the HBK Piano Trio), and as a soloist (he has performed at the Majestic Theatre, and was a featured soloist during the Long Island Youth Orchestra's 61st season), he has had the opportunity to work with some of today’s leading teachers. He has won national accolades and has attended many prestigious music festivals (Inside Music Academy 2021, Meadowmount School of Music 2022/2023). Christopher currently studies at The Juilliard School under Daniel Phillips.
