Bo Zhang, as one of the proud recipient of the Kovner fellowship at Juilliard, has been hailed as a pianist with superb technique, unique creativity and artistic understanding. He is the first prize winner of both the 2017 Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition-Valldemossa in Spain and the 2017 Lang Lang Shenzhen Futian International Piano Competition for Young Pianists. Born in Zhejiang, China, Bo Zhang began his piano studies at the age of 5 and gave his first public performance the following year. At the age of 12, Bo gave his debut recital in Beijing. Since then, he has been invited to perform as soloist in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, New York, Cleveland, and Palma (Spain), among other cities. Bo also won the concerto competition in Juilliard in 2023 and performed with the Juilliard chamber orchestra in Alice Tully hall.
