Ava Shedd is a passionate and inspiring performer who loves engaging with audiences and educating the next generation of young musicians. She has had years of orchestral, chamber, and solo experiences which have shaped her into a well-rounded musician. Ava has grown into the violinist she is today because of ensembles such as the Bayyouth Orchestras of Virginia and the Hampton Roads Chamber Players. In addition to these youth ensembles, Ava has participated at Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Meadowmount School of Music, Heifetz International Music Institute, and Ascent International Chamber Music Festival. Her orchestral experiences include subbing with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. She has had the pleasure of sitting Assistant Concertmaster for the past semester in the CCM Philharmonia at the College-Conservatory of Music. Ava is primarily dedicated to furthering her love and skill for the violin.
