Belle Wang, age 20, has won first place in numerous competitions including the MTNA State Solo Competition, Arizona Musicfest Musicians Competition, American Protege International Concerto Competition, Philadelphia International Music Festival Solo Competition, and International Grande Music Competition. Shortly after debuting with the Chandler Symphony as the winner of the 2016 Chandler Symphony Orchestra Competition, Belle has performed in national venues like Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall in NYC. In 2017 and 2020, she performed with the Phoenix Symphony as the Grand Prize and Clotilde Otranto winner of the Youth Musicians Competition. In addition to studying with Danwen Jiang, Professor of Violin at ASU, Belle currently studies with Professor Margaret Batjer at University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. She has had the opportunity to perform in the USC Thornton Symphony at venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall. Since 2019, she has held both the concertmaster and second violin principal chairs.
