Ani Kavafian

A member of the Sarasota Music Festival faculty since 1992

Kavafian is an internationally acclaimed recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician who has performed with many of America's leading orchestras including New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix, and Rochester. She is an artist member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, full professor Yale University and artistic director of the Mostly Music Festival in New Jersey, as well as a guest artist at the Chamber Music Northwest, Bridgehampton, Norfolk and the Peasmarsh Chamber Music Festival in England. Kavafian was a student in the Sarasota Music Festival from 1970-1972.
