Biography >

A young girl dreams of playing great music in front of a full audience … A young man aspires to perform with a professional orchestra … And on one special night, the Sarasota Orchestra makes dreams come true!

Share this "Thrill of a Lifetime" as the Youth Philharmonic performs "side-by-side" with the professional musicians of the Sarasota Orchestra. The combined orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, Saint-Saens’ Danse bacchanale from Samson and Delilah and the finale from Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8. In the first half, the professional Sarasota Orchestra performs with the student winners of the Edward and Ida Wilkof Young Artists Concerto Competition.
